It’s officially VMA time. Last night the 2019 VMAs took place in New Jersey’s Prudential Center located in Newark. This year’s ceremony marks the first time the award took place in New Jersey. This year’s show also marks the return of having an actual host by way of Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. The night was filled with awards and performances. We personally were looking forward to this year’s Video Vanguard Recipient Missy Elliott. While there were many moments from the night that had social media buzzing, we would be remiss to mention the red carpet looks. 2019 Met Gala Red Carpet
Fashion enthusiasts, we have arrived at the time of year yet again. On Monday the 2019 Met Gala took place at the renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art in the heart of New York City. This year’s theme is based around the exhibition Camp: Notes of Fashion. Grammy time has arrived yet again. Sunday Night the 61st Grammy Awards aired on CBS. This year’s ceremony saw came with another location and a new host. The location moved back to the West Coast at Los Angeles’s Staples Center. Grammy Award Winner Musician Alicia Keys served as this year’s host. Last night was the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. It aired on FOX & took place at The Forum. It is one of few awards shows that it gears more toward the younger demographics. Last night, the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at The Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The award show highlights some of the top talents in the fashion industry. This year’s host is SNL Alum and Late-Night Host Seth Meyers. Several notable nominees were awarded during this year’s ceremony including the 2017 Fashion Icon Award to Franca Sozzani who served as Editor-in-chief- of Vogue Italia until her unfortunate passing last December.
