Sunday was the 52nd Annual ACM Awards and aired on CBS. It was held at last Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena. Billed as Country Music’s Party of the Year this year’s show was co-hosted by Country Superstars Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan for the second consecutive year. While the awards show celebrated some of the biggest names in the world of country I would be remiss to not mentioned all the red-carpet fashion. 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards Nominees & Honorees Announced

Yesterday the CFDA announced the nominees and honorees for this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. As reported by WWD, the nominees were announced by CFDA Chairwoman & Designer Diane von Furstenberg. Some award categories include Womenswear Designer of the Year, Menswear Designer of the Year, Accessory Designer of the Year & Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. Some of this year’s honorees are Kenneth Cole (inaugural Swarovski Award for Positive Change), Rick Owens (Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award), & Pat McGrath (Founder’s Award).

Tonight, was the 2017 Kids Choice Awards. The award show is held at USC Galen Center in Los Angeles and broadcasted on Nickelodeon. This year’s event is hosted by WWE Superstar John Cena. The show had changed since my days of tuning in as a kid. The KCAs is one of the award shows geared more towards a younger demographic.
