Tonight was the 51st CMA Music Awards. Billed as Country’s Biggest Night it takes place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Country Musicians Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts for the tenth consecutive year. Of course, the hosts won’t have a shortage of material for jokes, especially since last year’s ceremony. The night is to honor some of the hottest talents in the world of country. Monday night was Elle’s 23rd Annual Women in Hollywood Awards. The event took place in Beverly Hills at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event honored Elle’s eight November cover stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Laura Dern, Jessica Chastain, Margot Robbie, Tessa Thompson, Riley Keough, Cicely Tyson & Kathleen Kennedy. It also celebrated the achievements of successful women in the industry. Especially in the current climate, it is important to have an event like this. Last night was the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. It aired on FOX & took place at The Forum. It is one of few awards shows that it gears more toward the younger demographics. Honestly, I didn’t half of the celebs that are popular, but I digress. Teens had the chance to vote on their favorites for categories such as Choice Web Star, TV Show, and more. Last night, the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at The Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The award show highlights some of the top talents in the fashion industry. This year’s host is SNL Alum and Late-Night Host Seth Meyers. Several notable nominees were awarded during this year’s ceremony including the 2017 Fashion Icon Award to Franca Sozzani who served as Editor-in-chief- of Vogue Italia until her unfortunate passing last December.
