Following up after Bridal Fashion Week we have Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. Fun Fact: Barcelona just happens to be a capital for bridal fashion. The event arrived just in time for the newly engaged bride-to-be or just those who enjoy bridal fashion week. What we like about this particular bridal week is that the collections incorporate designs not only for the groom but for the rest of your bridal party wear. Here’s our review of some of the collections for the week below.

This collection marked the beginning of the week. For her 2017 collection, Clará presented an artistic range of designs that conjure the awareness of the modern woman: self-indulgent, lively, and searching fashion for an accomplice to highlight her personality.

This collection consists of a combination of bridal and party looks. For the wedding portion of the collection, Avendaño makes fabric such as Neoprene and Silk Knit compete with classic, rustic Embroidery, tattoo-like Lace, Silk, Tulle, and Crêpe the stars of the collection.
As for the party segment, the designer focuses on the color in landscapes as the inspiration for the looks. She also makes sure to include some floral looks. The looks are picture-perfect for weddings, parties, and the red carpet.
Day 4 (4/29/16)

Lightness was the theme for this collection (designs and colors). There were multiple appearances of backless gowns throughout the collection. We couldn’t overlook the cape gowns which were a personal favorite of ours. They also bring French glamor and elegance as the sole French designer to showcase at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.

The week close out with Atelier Pronovias’s Spring 2017 collection. It was broken into three separate lines: Imperio, Sirena, and Gran Volumen. This collection was filled with so many different design notes including geometric forms, plumetis appliqués of haute couture & embroidered gemstones. Some gowns include long trains which are detachable.
Come next spring, brides will have plenty gowns and trends to choose from. Whether they are fans of feathers or have a flair for the dramatics there are sure to find their flawless gown for the big day. For all the collections from Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, you can visit their website.
