If you missed Fashion Week Stockholm allow me to recap some of the collections for the three-day fashion event.
Day 1
Stylein S/S 2016
This collection’s inspiration comes from South African nature. While the color palette for the collection consists of White, Black, Dark Blue and Beige. A standout of this collection is the dresses with palm tree print.
Morris Heritage S/S 2016
Morris Heritage Spring/Summer 2016 collection consists of fifty shades of blue, beige, grey and brown. There is also an incorporation of Välskräddade costumes. I liked the classic style of this menswear collection.
By Malina S/S 2016
For this collection, it’s all about the eighties with big hair and makeup. It also includes some bridal fashion with the inclusion of two bridesmaids looks which take inspiration from Madonna’s Like a Virgin.
House of Dagmar S/S 2016
House of Dagmar took viewers on a stroll on a warm summer night. Light Beige, Grey, Blue and Pale Pink are the color used throughout this collection.
Ida Klamborn S/S 2016
The collection shows a symbol of strength from the clothes themselves to the women chosen to model them. It also uses the color of red along with shape in the skirts, dresses, and shirts.
Mayla S/S 2016
Bohemian Rhapsody is the inspiration for this collection. As far a color palette it consists of light blue, green (skogsgrön) and cream. Overall the collection has a very feminine vibe with ruffles and tapered looks.
